On February 20, 2014, TIVA joins with WIFV to invite you to attend "Re-imagining the Motion Picture and Television Development Office, An Evening with Director Pierre Bagley." Come meet the new director of the DC Film Office and hear his vision for re-imagining the District to become one of the most sought-after destinations for multimedia production. We will also hear from local industry professionals on the subject of filming in the District including special guests Location Manager Joe Martin, Unit Production Manager Patty Hess, Jim Pennington from DUO Media Productions, Tim Lorenz from Interface Media Group and Peter Roof of Alt Gobo MediaWorks.

The event will be held at the MPTD offices located at 200 I Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003 (2 blocks from the Navy Yard Metro).

Reception/Networking at 6:30pm. Event from 7pm-8:30pm.

YOU MUST REGISTER ON-LINE IN ORDER TO ATTEND THIS SPECIAL EVENT. NO WALK-INS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED. 

Please plan to arrive early - around 5:30pm if possible - to facilitate quick clearance through security. Do not carry suspicious items, including tweezers, batteries and other electronic or dangerous items.

Street parking is available (three hours maximum starting at 6:30pm), but we strongly suggest people use the Navy Yard Metro stop.

COST - $10 for TIVA/WIFV Members / $20 for Non-TIVA/WIFV Members.
