Cortina Productions designs and produces multimedia experiences for museums. From multi-user interactives to 4D theaters, Cortina stays on the forefront of technology to develop innovative avenues for expression. Kaitlin will be discussing experiences they have created that provide visitors with opportunities to learn and engage with content beyond their physical environment.

Emma Mankey Hidem
Founder, Principal, Sunnyside VR
Emma is the founder of SunnysideVR is a full-service virtual reality studio based in Washington, DC with one simple, primary goal: to create awesome, immersive video content for advertising, marketing and journalism. Since launching, Emma has shot 360 video all over the country and even as far away as Nepal, and she couldn't be more excited about the future of VR and the ever-expanding capabilities of 360° storytelling.

Ray McCarthy Bergeron
Director, Technology Innovation, VIVA Creative
Ray McCarthy Bergeron uses his creativity, love of technology, and innovative way of thinking at VIVA Creative to develop and create media and interactive content for a wide range of Fortune 500 organizations. An accomplished filmmaker, his short films have screened across the globe, winning awards and recognition from some of the country’s best Indie media outlets and organizations. When he’s not covered in pixels and code, Ray leads the VIVA technology innovation team, imagining, developing, and executing client solutions across a range of digital platforms.

Rafael Villagaray
Digital Project Manager/Senior Developer, VIVA Creative
Developing video games since he was a teenager, Rafael Villagaray has several successful titles via his mobile games company, including the #1 ranked game on the App Store and multiple featured games in the top 100. At VIVA Creative Rafael manages and develops experiential digital projects for clients across multiple verticals. Rafael has recently been developing an incredible variety of interactive AR/VR/MR experiences on the HoloLens, Oculus, and Kinect.

Benjamin Ross
CEO, Metamer Productions
Benjamin previously led VR development at The Duke & the Duck in DC, where he created some of the very first graphics-heavy VR experiences — most of this ended up being 360 video, as clients generally were not buying true VR at the time. Metamer is pushing heavily into real estate and "tour" markets and also developing entertainment properties — they have a VR machine-learning horror experience in development, as well as an AR e-sports application.

David Bittner
Immersive Technology Department, Metamer Productions
David was previously at Discovery VR, and now leads the Immersive Technology Department at Metamer Productions.
