iForum is an e-mail information resource and discussion group available exclusively to TIVA-DC and MCAI-DC (formerly ITVA-DC) members. iForum is designed to facilitate member-to-member networking and provide members with assistance in identifying media resources and job opportunities. You can use your iForum subscription to enhance your daily workflow when seeking production or technical assistance, and to post industry updates, information or announcements on industry events and screenings.

You need to be a member of TIVA-DC or MCAI-DC to enjoy the benefits of iForum. If you are already a member, you are automatically subscribed to iForum, so long as we have a valid current email address for you in our database. Individuals who want to unsubscribe can simply log on to lists.tivadc.org , click on iforum, then click on "Unsubscribe". If you have never logged into the email list before, click on "Request password" and a temporary password will be sent to your email address.  (Note:  this email address will be changing in December, 2007.  Members will be given new instructions at that time.)

Once you're subscribed to iForum, all you need to do to post a message, question or announcement to iForum is to send an email message to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it from the email address you have on file with TIVA-DC. Your email will be received by every member subscriber of the TIVA-DC iForum.

To respond to an iForum message, click "reply to" on your mail, not "reply to all" (unless, of course, you want everyone on iForum to see your response). By selecting "reply to," your response will be sent only to the individual who sent the message that you received, and not to the entire iForum.
