Although new in name, TIVA-DC has deep roots in the DC production community. Founded in June 2007 by several ITVA-DC Board members, it is a local non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to serving the local media production community. It is also a successor to ITVA-DC, a trade association with a long and distinguished history.
