Yellow Cat has produced award-winning film & video in Washington, DC since 1980. This includes News, reality TV, documentaries, PSA's, association, government, and corporate communications. Our independent documentaries have aired in many countries.
We provide research, scriptwriting, production design & management, location production, editing, and musical composition. We are experienced film and picture researchers at the National Archives and the Library of Congress.
Cameras include a Sony 600 D Beta SP, Sony HVR-V1U HDV, and a Sony DSR-500 DVCam. Matte box, filters, wide angle & extreme telephoto lens in house. Our inventory includes a Porta Jib Traveler. We have an underwater capability with a housing for a camcorder camera. PAL equipment available.
For post production we use an AVID and Final Cut Pro HD editing systems, After Effects, Final Effects, Boris, Graffiti, Photoshop, Sound Forge, and DVD Studio Pro
.
We are experienced with many international locations including Russia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe and have a multilingual staff.
Clients include network broadcasters, cable channels (A&E, Showtime, The History Channel, E! Entertainment Television, Discovery, and The Learning Channel), government agencies, museums, corporations, associations, and public relations firms.
