Writing Challenges: Making Characters and Dialogue Communicate Your Client's Message.

Some scripts roll off the keyboard with ease while others seem to resist your best efforts. Our panel of writers will discuss their approaches to particularly difficult material and answer your questions about the writing process.

Our panel now features Frank Cervarich, Lisa Feit, Jim Kerkhoff, Claudia Myers, and Ann Ramsey.

Frank Cervarich, an award-winning filmmaker, writes, produces, edits, and, when called for, shoots film and video.

Lisa Feit has almost two decades’ experience. Her television credits include individual programs and series for National Geographic Television and Channel, TLC, The Discovery Channel, PBS, and others.

Jim Kerkhoff is an award-winning writer-producer-director specializing in the design of video and interactive programs.

Claudia Myers is the writer/director of “Kettle of Fish” starring Matthew Modine and Gina Gershon.

Ann Ramsey, Backstory Productions, is a video writer/producer with a broad background that includes advertising & marketing, international business, and academics.
