Things have settled down after the transition from ITVA-DC to TIVA, but unfortunately, many of our members are not taking advantage of the capabilities and services our new organization has to offer. Sometimes the old adage holds true: "You get out of an organization what you put into it." But not always -- there are many times members can get a lot more with very little additional effort. For example: - Log in: When you do, you'll see a new list of menu options
- My Subscription: tells you how much time you have left on your current membership, and lets you renew or upgrade your membership.
- My Details: lchange your password and user ID.
- My Profile: lupdate your address, phone, and other information. This is where to go to create your Online Production Guide listing.
- Resources: download previous newsletters, read Tanya Spann Roche's government contracting tips, get rules and tips for using iForum.
- Submit News: post your press release here -- no restrictions against self-promotion -- plus, we check this section when looking for newsletter topics!
- Can't log in but have a current membership? Email

Use the Online Production Guide- Use the Guide to find resources: Searching the web can yield large numbers of useless hits, but you know TIVA members are serious local professionals, so check here first when you need to hire someone, refer an inquiry or ask a question.
- Create your own listing: This is one of the best features of our new web site, but most members are not yet using it! Unlike the old ITVA-DC site, the listings are extremely flexible, allowing you to add pictures, links, lots of text, etc. If you don't have a web page, you can create your own space here with an easy-to-use text editor.
- Every meeting begins with a networking happy hour with plenty of refreshments. You'll make contacts, get a chance to ask questions, and catch up on current envets in our industry.
- During the program, you'll learn the details of important skills and technologies from local experts, plus have an opportunity to get your questions answered.
- Volunteering to help with an event takes no extra time and gets you in free. Email Volunteer Committee Chair,

- If you have a skill and want to let others know about it, show it off by helping with a project. Others on the team will get experience working with you, and are then more likely to call you for similar paying jobs. Plus, your work will be publicized when the project is complete. Email
